Labuan Bajo, great for organising your diving trip to Komodo Marine Park, the boat to Lombok, a visit to see the Komodo dragons and fantastic sunsets.....but not much else. The town is rather shabby and uninspiring.
Made In Italy restaurant, The Lounge, Paradise Bar and perhaps Mediterreano restaurant are worth a visit. The owner of MII seems to be a bit of a toss pot but his pasta, pizza and tiramisu are pretty good. Even the espresso was half decent.
Don't stay longer here (in the town) than you need to. Gardena Bungalows has rustic budget accom and Golo Hilltop has fantastic rooms a little out of town that have a brilliant view of the ocean (photo accidentally deleted).
